This may seem like a trivial notion, and it is when taken into account all the other things that have come to happen in the last few months due to this pandemic. Many of those things are beyond our command, and all we can do is keep on keeping on, and focus on the things that we have control over. Social distancing, face masks, and handwashing have become our lives' mantra, and it is one that we cannot forget for our personal wellbeing as well as for that of others.

What we want to talk about today is moisturizing. That has been a mantra of the beauty community for a long time, and it is one of the few things that still haven't changed. We have all been washing our hands much more frequently than previously, and also using alcohol based gels for hand sanitizers ( both of which can cause considerable dryness of the skin). But how often have we been moisturizing our hands? In many of our cases, probably the same as before, or may be even less. This is something to think about. Proper care of our hands should not only include protection from contagious viruses, but also prevention of some cumbersome skin problems that can likely arise from our newly-changed sanitary habits. We recommend using Fragrance free hand creams with Vitamin E. Coconut oil is another excellent option. If not, lets just say "beggars can't be choosers" and use the next available option. We are in this for the long run, so lets be mindful to wash our hands, and lets moisturize just as frequently. Stay safe everyone.
